Will I Lose My Social Security Benefits If I Get Married?

I’m 17 and I plan on getting married when I’m 18. I want to get married to my future spouse who is an active duty solider, but I don’t know if I will lose my Social Security benefits that I receive because of my deceased father. I plan on attending college also. Will I have a lessened option for financial aid in college? Marriage is the only option.

You’ll lose the ss benefits anyway when you turn 18, whether you get married or not. Financial aid might be affected, but no way to tell what effect without a lot more info.
