Best Towns To Retire

My company doesn’t allow in-service withdrawal. I am particularly concerned about the “administrative fees” especially this is an insurance company that runs 401(k) plans. Should I continue to contribute to my 401(k) up to or more than my employer’s match?

I bought about 130 lbs of sand (may be too much) of playsand from home depot. I have a 55 gallon fresh water community tank. No live plants. I have an Emperor 400, and was concerned that the sand may mess up the impeller on the filter. I plan on putting some of the old gravel into the filter to prevent a mini cycle.
Any advice?

My mom was a special education teacher for the past 25 years and has finally retired. She’ll also be turning 65, so I’d like to throw her a retirement/birthday party. There will be people of several ages and races at the party. Does anyone have any great ideas on things we can do to get the party going and make it entertaining for our guests?

I’m 21 and enrolled last month in my company’s 401k, because it was the first chance I could. My company will match 50% of my contribution, up to 6%. I can’t afford 6% to be taken out of my account, so I think I chose to do 4%. I did it because it’s small enough that I’ll barely notice it coming out of my pay, and can really add up by the time I’m ready to use it. I’m also planning on setting up a Roth IRA, I just haven’t gotten around to it. (Which is sad because I work at the credit union!!)

They shouldn’t. That is a privelege and benefit to have for working for a company that does have a 401k plan.
If you were to make it mandatory, half of the small businesses in the U.S. would have to fold from additional expenses.

I am seriously thinking of buying a home in a north central FL +55 adult retirement community and need to know which are best for a 64 yr old single female who wants only to be somewhat active (no golf).
